Who are you?

My name is Katy Liu. 

I live in Pittsburgh, PA.

What inspired you to create this book?

I graduated from the Academy of Intuition Medicine® with a Master Certification in Intuition Medicine® in July 2026.

To graduate, I had to create a final project. I created this Coloring Workbook for my graduation. 

About the Book

Why did you create this book?

I created this Coloring Workbook for people related to the Academy of Intuition Medicine® and beyond. My Academy experience was dynamic, imaginative, intuitive, and visual. As a gift to myself and others, I created a Coloring Workbook with pictures, exercises, and text that map to and support the concepts taught by the Academy. 

Who is this book for?

People related to the Academy of Intuition Medicine® and anyone interested and/or curious. 

The text in the book — are they all your words?

No. And that is on purpose.

There are pages that contain a lot of text. The text was written word for word by Academy founder, Dr. Francesca McCartney.

To complete Academy courses, one is expected to attend class (in person or via Zoom), read the after-class readings, and engage with the people and the information. Reading helps you become familiar with the words and concepts. 

While I appreciated all of the after-class readings, my eyes were usually drawn to the specific words that Francesca wrote.

For the Coloring Workbook, I selected words written by Francesca from the after-class readings that “spoke” to me and that I sensed would help other people. 

The words are Francesca’s words. Word for word. I did not edit it.

Other words in the Coloring Workbook are my own, including the introduction, the picture titles, and the Neutral Separations (NS) Self-Check exercise statements. 

There are pages that are repeated. Why?

In a way, the Academy teaches you a whole new language. Francesca notes in her after-class readings, "Repetition gains mastery."

You are changing as you learn the material, and an important part of the process involves observing. View the repeated pages as an opportunity to review the information, assess your level of understanding, and identify any questions or issues. Has anything changed?

There are pages that are blank. How am I supposed to know how to fill them out?

The Coloring Workbook is meant to be a companion to the Academy curriculum—an accompaniment as you take the time to physically, mentally, and imaginatively immerse yourself in the experience.

The answers for the pages related to the chakras (e.g., Bunny Chakra pages, the Chakra System Table, Chakra Themes, and Chakra Affirmations) may be found in the after-class readings. It is a straightforward copy and paste of the text. You need to find the text first and then write it in the Coloring Workbook. Sometimes more than once. Repetition gains mastery. 

Pages such as "2nd Chakra - Empathy" and "4th Chakra - Compassion" provide space for your notes and observations about what happens when you experiment with those chakras. The instructions are shared during class and as part of the after-class readings.

This entire book is meant to be a "landing pad" for your thoughts and observations. 

Is this book available as a digital download? If not, why?

No, not at this time.

I envisioned this book as a physical book. Literally. I saw myself holding a physical book in my mind's eye and knew early in the process that I wanted certain details like spiral binding, which allows the book to lay flat as certain pages are seen together side by side at one time.

The book is similar to a notebook or journal and encourages one to write down notes, to color, and to physically flip through the book and realize what one has learned, experienced, and been working on. I find that people "do" a lot of things yet do not always realize or give themselves credit for what has been done. So, this book has the potential to serve as a time capsule in a way.

There are two shipping options:

United States Postal Service (USPS) Media Mail: costs approx. $10 and takes about 5-8 business days. Not too expensive. However, you have to be patient.

USPS Ground Advantage: costs approx. $15 and takes about 4 business days.
